ALPHA International, a subsidiary of Cox & Kings, the longest established Travel Agency in the world, is part of a network of over 2,700 offices in more than 60 countries worldwide.
ALPHA International was established in New Caledonia in 1988.
Today we have a full-time staff of 46 who devote their considerable expertise to product design, tourist management, and the quest for quality. ALPHA has designed specific products targeted at both the Leisure and Individual Traveller, together with groups and, in particular, Conference and Incentive groups.
Over this short period of time, ALPHA International has taken over a large part of the market share and played a key part in generating new tourist related business. Chosen as the Destination Management Company for New Caledonia's largest ever conference/incentive group arriving March this year, a total of 512 delegates, for whom we transported, organised off-site activities and assisted in the entertainment and logistics of the conference.
ALPHA is also the Official Booking Agency for the "Hobie Cat 16 World Championship" held in Noumea in April 2002, handling all hotel reservations, transfers and touring options.
In the quest for up most quality and to take an active role in the weaving of the social fabric of New Caledonia, ALPHA International has invested and manages a range of quality tourist products; including a fleet of luxury sailing catamarans with qualified skippers and diving instructors. Our most recent investment includes a fleet of luxury top of the range tourist vehicles; limousines, four-wheel-drive range rovers and minibuses, and coaches ranging from 8 to 55-seaters.
Over the past few years, ALPHA has chosen to invest, as shareholders, in a range of exclusive and unique companies; such as the "Petit Trains", a company with 3 fun tourist vehicles that operate sightseeing tours, progressive dinners and transfers, and "Le Ponton", a floating plateform anchored on the coral reef.
